Why Your MT4 EA & Indicators Aren’t Working

What Caused the Issue?
MetaQuotes released a new build (Build 1460) for MT4, which changed internal structures. As a result, many compiled EAs and indicators stopped functioning properly. You might notice errors in EAs, missing indicators, or unresponsive custom scripts.
How We Are Addressing It
We are diligently updating our collection of EAs and indicators to ensure compatibility with the latest MT4 build. Updated versions are being rolled out as they pass our testing.

Check Tool Status with Community Voting
Each EA and indicator page now features a community-driven widget where users can report tool status post-update. This voting system helps prioritize updates based on demand.
Temporary Fix: MT4 Build Downgrader
While we update tools, you can temporarily downgrade your MT4 to a compatible build using our MT4 Build Downgrader. This tool backs up your files, blocks auto-updates, and allows easy reversion.
Installation Steps for MT4 Build Downgrader
- Download the MT4 Build Downgrader for free.
- Run the file as Administrator.
- Select your MT4 installation folder.
- Choose an older build and click ‘DOWNGRADE’.
If issues occur, use the ‘UNDO & UNLOCK’ button to restore the original state.
Important Considerations
- This is a temporary solution; update to the latest versions when available.
- Brokers may stop supporting older builds.
- VPS users should proceed with caution.
